Chandler
Chandler is a fun-loving seven-year-old Gordon Setter. He came to PAWS Chicago from a shelter in Oklahoma City shortly after the devastating tornadoes hit in May of 2013. Poor Chandler was diagnosed with heartworm, but thanks to PAWS Chicago veterinarians he is now in great shape! He is a well-behaved, obedient dog who is house and crate-trained. He is great around people, but is skittish when he hears loud noises or is surprised. He loves to be petted, is low-key, and is content to lie in his open crate on a blanket next to you. He would do best in a house in the suburbs with a yard where he can run and play. Are you the forever home Chandler has been waiting for? He is currently in a foster home and can be seen by appointment. If you are interested in adopting Chandler, please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, or email adoptions@pawschicago.org.

Pipsqueak is a grey five-year-old cat who is FIV positive. He has some scars on his neck that resemble bite wounds and had to have a few of his teeth extracted. It is a mystery as to what he had to endure during his time as a stray but he is warm and safe now and is looking for a loving forever home. He is a very friendly and happy cat who is looking for adopters that can be patient with him as he makes the transition from stray to loved companion. If you are interested in adopting Pipsqueak, please call 773-935-PAWS, visit www.pawschicago.org, email adoptions@pawschicago.org or stop by the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center located at 1997 N.
