Inspired by the events of the massacre at Columbine High School in 1999, columbinus explores the often dark corners of the teenage psyche. Set in a stereotypical American high school, filled with walking clichés, the characters labeled “Freak” and “Loner” grow increasingly isolated and turn to violence. This poignant retelling of the Columbine massacre recounts the story through a combination of actual footage and personal journals of the gunmen, bringing the events of that day to life.
