Cubs' Kyle Schwarber Hosts Sons Of Fallen CFD Diver

In a kind gesture, Schwarber met with Jacob and Josh Bucio — the sons of fallen Chicago Fire Department diver Juan Bucio.

CHICAGO, IL — Chicago Cubs' outfielder Kyle Schwarber invited the sons of a fallen CFD diver to a night out at Wrigley Field. The boys' father, Juan Bucio, died while searching for a missing boater in the Chicago River in May. Joshua and Jacob Bucio were treated to Thursday night's game, and Schwarber gave them signed baseballs and jerseys.

Schwarber met up with the boys at Engine 78 firehouse across the street from Wrigley Field. The boys then got to watch the Cubs' batting practice and Thursday night's game against the Padres.

"Thanks @kschwarb12 for making Jacob & Josh Bucio's first time at Wrigley a memorable experience," the CFD tweeted. "Thanks for always supporting the Chicago Fire Department and First Responders."
