DePaul College Prep Music Students Get Visit from Famed Secret Sisters Band

Thanks to the efforts of DePaul College Prep music director Terrence Morrow, 50+ music students enjoyed a private performance and Q&A with The Secret Sisters Band on Friday, Sept 5th. The duo’s music has been used by Mr. Morrow to teach concepts of harmony and song writing. Sisters Laura and Lydia Rogers met with the fine arts students to discuss life in the music industry and show how their harmonizing has led to critical success. The Secret Sisters Band has worked with legendary T Bone Burnett, toured with She & Him and Paul Simon, filmed a PBS Special with Elvis Costello and Jakob Dillon and recorded for The Hunger Games soundtrack. Thanks to Mr. Morrow for making it a special day for DePaul Prep’s music students.
