Dreamy 'Chicago Fire' Actor Helps People Trapped in an Elevator — For Real
Who wouldn't want to be trapped in an elevator with Jesse Spencer?
SPRINGFIELD, IL — Chicago Fire actor Jesse Spencer was stuck in an elevator Sunday while touring the State Capitol with his family and other tourists. Stuck for about 45 minutes, Spencer pried open the doors and then helped real Springfield firefighters help others out of the elevator. His parents were visiting from Australia and he was showing them around the state capital.
The Chicago Sun-Times posted this video interview with the Chicago Fire star on YouTube. Spencer plays Chicago Fire Department Lt. Matthew Casey on the show.
Spencer tweeted a photo of himself with the Springfield Fire Department afterward.
