The ever-popular Emerald City Theatre School Birthday parties have added an exciting new venue to their roster of Lakeview-area theatre spaces: Emerald City's Little Theatre. The newly renovated space, located at 2933 N. Southport Ave. in Lakeview, was designed in collaboration with The Land of Nod to inspire creativity and play with Oz-inspired décor, interactive lobby installations, and professional theatrical equipment.
These theatrical celebrations are led by Emerald City's professional teaching artists, who guide guests in themed theatre games, crafts, and creating a mini-performance for parents at the end of the party. A variety of themes are available, including current seasonal themes "Beach Party" and "Mustachio Bashio" or you can create your own theme for an additional fee.
Parties take place at Emerald City's Little Theatre (2933 N. Southport Ave.), Stage 773 (1225 W. Belmont Ave, Chicago, 60657), Theatre Wit (1229 W. Belmont Ave, Chicago, 60657), or for an extra fee, at an off-site location of your choosing.
