Feigenholtz Encourages Community Members to Join Local Neighborhood Organizations

CHICAGO, Ill. – To help ensure that every resident has a voice in the functions of their community, state Rep. Sara Feigenholtz, D-Chicago, is encouraging people to get involved in various neighborhood organizations that are dedicated to advancing the quality of life and development of neighborhoods across the Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Old Town, and Near North areas.

“There are several local organizations that are looking for prospective members who are passionate about maintaining and developing a thriving and vibrant community,” Feigenholtz said. “Whether you live in Buena Park, Old Town, off Lake Shore Drive, or near Wrigley Field, there is a nearby organization that is always looking for more input and involvement from the neighborhood.”

There are over a dozen neighborhood organizations within Rep. Feigenholtz’s district, including: Belmont Harbor Neighbors, Buena Park Neighbors, Central Lakeview Neighbors, East Lake View Neighbors, Gold Coast Neighbors, Hawthorne Neighbors, Lincoln Central Association, Mid-North Association, North Dearborn Association, Old Town Triangle Association, Park West Community Association, Southeast Lakeview Neighbors, Southport Neighbors Association, Triangle Neighbors, and West Lakeview Neighbors. The Lake View Citizens Council also serves as an umbrella organization to Lakeview neighborhood organizations.
