CHICAGO, IL — Lake View's Gallagher Way will host the city's official 'Son of a Son of a Sailor' preshow celebration Friday, July 13, beginning at noon. The tropical-themed party is being held in honor of Jimmy Buffett's return to Wrigley Field. The first 4,000 guests to arrive at Gallagher Way will receive a festive lei. The party will include a range of tropical-themed activities, including the opportunity to decorate a Buffett-inspired vinyl record at a Spin Art station with Scratch Events, take photos with a parrot, play lawn games and watch the 2005 Jimmy Buffett Wrigley Field performance on Gallagher Way's video board. Island sounds from Caribbean rock band Mr. Myers will begin at 3 p.m., followed by country artist Logan Brill at 5 p.m. The restaurants surrounding Gallagher Way will offer <a href="http://www.gallagherway.com" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">margarita specials, live music and games</a> to celebrate the occasion.
