Thrill-Seeking Goof Dangles from Rooftop of 46-Story Chicago Building
One hung from the ledge as the other took his photo Wednesday.
A man who works in a downtown Chicago office building on North Michigan Avenue looked out his window Wednesday afternoon and saw a man hanging from the rooftop of the 46-story building across the street.
Travis Schoening saw two men atop the Chicago Marriott at 540 N. Michigan Ave., and photographed them as one dangled over the side in an apparent thrill-seeking moment. The other young man carried a camera. Schoening, who posted a few snapshots on Twitter, said the men engaged in their antics for about two minutes.
“Just happened outside work. This is just going to give them what they want, exposure, but this trend needs to stop!” Schoening tweeted.
