Where To Celebrate Halloween In Lakeview

Happy Halloween! People of all ages can have fun on the 31st in Lakeview.

CHICAGO, IL — One of North Chicago's most-anticipated Halloween events of the year kicks off on the 31st: the annual Northalsted Halloween Parade. Get ready show off your costume and win prizes. You can register for the parade online, or starting at 5 p.m. The parade officially begins at 7:30 at Halsted and Belmont, and will march north to Cornelia Avenue.

Here are some other Halloween events in the Lakeview neighborhood:

GMan Tavern presents Misplaced Lagoon: the Wrigleyville tavern is dressing up for Halloween as a classic tiki bar, complete with a tiki cocktail menu, a DJ playing island vibes, and food from DonerMen. There will also be a costume contest with prizes, and - drum roll - no cover charge.

Music Box Theatre's Night of the Living Dead screening: the theatre is showing many classic Halloween flicks, including the "Rocky Horror Picture Show," and "The Night of the Living Dead."

Cheesie's on Halloween: decked out as the cast from "Rick and Morty," employees will serve four unique sandwiches and drinks from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.

Halloween at Aloha Poke: the Lakeview location is dressing up as "Hola Poke:" a classic Mexican taqueria complete with traditional food and festive decor.

Wine House costume contest: if you purchase something in your Halloween costume, you'll automatically be entered to win a three-month, $90 'Estate-level' wine club membership. The store will take your photo, and the customer with the most likes by Nov. 3 will win!
