Ice Falling from Chicago High Rises
Falling sheet of ice smashes one woman's windshield.
A woman in Chicago says she was stunned when a chunk of falling ice from a high-rise building crashed into her car's windshield. After more chunks of ice nearly hit pedestrians — and a Chicago police officer — the road was closed. Ice also was reportedly falling from the Willis Tower. Falling ice commonly occurs this time of year in Chicago.
