Lake View High School Senior Says Yes to the Skittles Dress

Cristel Garcia wanted to stand out from the crowd at her prom and made quite the entrance in an original dress retro candy store Candyality.

The Lake View High School senior volunteered to have a dress made entirely of candy wrappers when Candyality reached out to the high school.

Cristel chose Skittles because it’s her favorite candy and wore it to her prom at Navy Pier. The store also made her date a Skittles wrapper cumberbund.

Cristel explains to the WGN News morning crew why she said “yes to the Skittles dress.”
