Daisy Driss was around the last time the Cubs won the World Series...and the time before that.

CHICAGO, IL - Just about no one living now was around for the Chicago Cubs winning a World Series, but one Lakeview woman has been around for two.
Daisy Driss celebrated her 109th birthday Sunday with a brunch party at Ann Sather restaurant on Belmont Avenue, according to WGN. The brunch was hosted by restaurant owner and Alderman Tom Tunney, whose late mother was friends with Driss.
Driss was born in 1907, the year the Cubs won their first World Series title. They repeated as champions they year later.
