Lynette
Lynette is a seven-month-old Labrador retriever mix who is looking for her new best friend! She came to PAWS in February from a shelter in Oklahoma and has acclimated to city life. This precious girl enjoys meeting the volunteers at the Adoption Center, and loves playing with her doggie roommate. Lynette will no doubt excel in an obedience class, and can’t wait to start learning side-by-side with her adopters.
Lynette loves being petted and adored and will let you rub her belly for as long as you’d like! She’s enthusiastic in the way she shows love for people, but she rarely jumps up. She tends to get a little overly excited when she is restrained on a leash, especially if she sees something she wants to check out (like another dog), so a quiet home in the suburbs or a secluded area of the city with experience adults would be ideal. She’d be so excited to have a backyard to romp around in!

Jerry
Jerry is a two-year-old Siamese kitty and a very special guy looking for a loving home! Jerry was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects his balance and walking.

Cerebellar Hypoplasia doesn’t require medical treatment, he isn’t in any pain, and it won’t get worse as he gets older. He is expected to live a long and healthy life, just like any other feline. Jerry can’t jump very high, so he is hoping to have a comfortable bed on the floor where he can sleep and relax. A one-floor home, or one where stairs can be blocked off to prevent falls would be great, and he’ll need a litter box with low enough sides where he can easily get in and out.
What Jerry lacks in mobility, he definitely makes up for in personality! His foster mom said he won her heart and everyone else he met with his big blue eyes, friendly demeanor, and love of cuddling. He is great with other cats and also enjoys snuggling with friendly dogs! His other favorite activities include playing with ribbons and little tennis ball toys, using a carpeted scratching post, and exploring.
