Roger and Locket, PAWS Chicago's Pets of the Week

Roger

Roger is a gentle four-year-old black and white cat. This curious cat loves to play with interactive toys and enjoys exploring his surroundings. He likes people, and once he gets the lay of the land, he quickly warms up. He also did well when guests visited his foster home and he made sure to greet them with lots of head butts and leg rubs. Roger also loves to be petted, and his foster mom said that he was sweet and affectionate. He’d even give kitty kisses when she would put her face near his. Roger would do best as the only cat in his ‘purrmanent’ home. He loves snuggling in his bed but also enjoyed sleeping on the pillow next to his foster mom. This sweet cat is just looking for a place to rest his head. If you are looking for a sweet and gentle cat, Roger is the cat for you.

Locket

Locket is a charming one-year-old Australian Shepherd-Cattle dog mix. He loves to run and play and is looking for adopters with plenty of energy. His idea of a perfect afternoon would involve a trip to the dog park or a long walk through the forest preserve. End the day with some treats and a few belly rubs, and he would be in heaven. He would do best in an adults-only home where he can continue to work on his training skills. With experienced dog lovers who understand him and can set him up for success, Locket will make a great companion.
