Teens Charged With Robbing Man in Lake View Sunday Night

CHICAGO, IL - Two teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl, teamed to rob a 48-year-old man just before midnight Sunday night in Lake View, according to police.

Police charged the pair with one felony count of armed robbery in connection with an alleged incident in the 500 block of W. Addison St. around 11:45 p.m. The man was not injured.

The 17-year-old boy displayed a replica handgun and both suspects fled the scene with the victim’s cash and a mobile phone.

Police responded and found the duo in the 3700 block of N. Pine Grove Ave.
