"Transparent" star heads home to Chicago
Trans actress Alexandra Billings to headline Chicago benefit ahead of Amazon hit "Transparent" season two debut
Pride Films & Plays will feature a special performance with trans actress Alexandra Billings on Nov. 2 at Stage 773 (1125 W. Belmont Ave.).
Billings plays Davina on the Amazon show Transparent. Season two of the show is debuting Dec. 4.
She’s also a Chicago icon who spent many years in the theater scene here, most notably at the Steppenwolf.

Tickets include a champagne and dessert post-reception with a photo booth. Proceeds will benefit Chicago-based Pride Films & Plays.
Tickets are $75 and available here. The show begins at 7:15 p.m.
