• Vitas resigns as Moline city administrator (quadcitiesbusiness.com) — Lake Zurich gets a brief mention as former Moline administrator Bob Vitas once helped restructure the village's tax increment financing district, experience that later supported his work in Moline. He has now resigned from his Moline role, and that city's council is beginning the search for his replacement while an assistant administrator steps in temporarily.
