
CASA Lake County is seeking young professionals between ages 25 and 40 living in the Chicago area who want to connect with others while making a difference in their community.
Terri Zenner Greenberg, executive director of CASA Lake County, said “If you are passionate and committed to improving the lives of abused and neglected children, CASA invites you to consider becoming a member of our new Young Professionals Board.”
She said “the members will have the opportunity to expand their business and social networks and sharpen their leadership skills by developing events and projects that support our organization’s mission of providing advocacy services to neglected and abused youth in foster care.”

Since 1994, Court Appointed Special Advocates, CASA of Lake County, has trained and supervised volunteers who today currently advocate for more than 500 abused and neglected children while also serving as fact-finders for the juvenile court judges.

CASA Lake County is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Lake County. Based on the belief that every child is entitled to a safe and permanent home, thoroughly trained CASA volunteers work in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to serve as the child’s advocate and represent the child’s best interest in juvenile court.
