Our group meets every Wednesday evening from
6pm-8pm at the Ela Township Community Center located at 380 Surryse Rd, Lake
Zurich. We knit, crochet, chat and have
fun! Our community of knitters & crocheters have been meeting for over 6
years, and we have made over 4000 handmade hats, scarves, blankets, baby items
and much more. These items have been donated to the LC Court House Kids Korner,
local food pantries, the VA, domestic violence shelters and hospitals. Don’t
know how to knit or crochet? We’ll teach you! The last Wednesday of the month
is dedicated to “learn a new skill”. We are a friendly group and welcome all
newcomers. Spend some time with us—you’ll feel great, contribute to area people
in need, and make new friends!
