Grace Period Registration Ending for April Election

Last day to sign up to vote at Lake County Clerk's Office is Tuesday, March 29.

Grace period registration for the April 5 Consolidated Election is available only at the County Clerk's office, 18 N. County St., Waukegan through close of business on Tuesday, March 29. Willard Helander, Lake County clerk reminds voters. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. t0 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Grace period registration permits Lake County residents to register or update their voter registration address at the Clerk's office after voter registration closes.

Those who take advantage of grace period registration may vote only at the Clerk's office. New registrants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days immediately prior to Election Day, 18 years-old on or before the election and must provide two forms of identification.
