Meeting to Detail Electric Aggregation Options

Ela Township residents can learn options for lowering their electric rates at public meetings this month.

Ela Township is hosting two public meetings this month to detail options for Electric Aggregation, the Chicago Tribune is reporting.

The first meeting will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, and will tell how residents can join in the township's aggregation program to lower their electric rates. Residents adopted a plan in April to allow the township to negotiate for lower prices. The second meeting will be held August 26, also at the township, 380 Surryse Road, Lake Zurich.
