The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) is spearheading the ‘Think Local First’ campaign. Open to all Palatine businesses, the campaign was created to generate awareness about the importance of patronizing area businesses, and educating residents and business owners about the importance of keeping sales tax dollars in the local community.

“Residents are encouraged to shop and think local, and business owners are encouraged to reinforce this message,” said Shawn Jackson, president of PACC. “Keeping our dollars here in the Palatine area not only helps our business owners to thrive and survive, it also ensures our hard-earned tax dollars stay here to support our local community and all it has to offer.”
