Save Lives: Take Part In Lake Zurich Blood Drive

With fewer donations during the summer months, residents are encouraged to donate on July 23 during Alpine Fest.

Residents are encouraged to stop by the American Legion Hall during Alpine Fest later this month and participate in the Lake Zurich Community-Supported Blood Drive.Β

Summer becomes one of the most important times to donate, because contributions are down.

β€œTimes like now, people are on vacation and enjoying the summer weather, and not thinking about donating blood,” said Dale Perrin, executive director, who is heading the blood drive.

Each donation saves three lives, and Perrin said the goal this year is 100 units.

If you can’t make it to Alpine Fest, you can still support the Lake Zurich blood drive.
