13 Lemont High School Students Named Prairie State Scholars
The recognition is based on the students' scores on the Prairie State Achievement Exam.

Thirteen students from Lemont High School’s Class of 2015 have been designated as Prairie State Scholars for their work on the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE) in April 2014. This marks the fifth straight year, and the sixth time in seven years, that Lemont High School has had at least ten students cited with Prairie State Scholar honors.
Included among the honorees this year are seniors Katie Atherton, Simon Batistich, Tess Cannon, Nicholas DeArcangelis, Adrianna Diviero, Bailey Fox, Matthew McFarland, Emma O’Leary, Bansi Padalia, Audrey Rex, Will Totura, Kyra Udziela and Daniel Wang.
In order to be named a Prairie State Scholar, students must score in the “Exceeds” level on all four portions—Reading, Mathematics, Science and Writing - of the PSAE. Lemont had 88 students post at least one score in the “Exceeds” range on the 2014 PSAE - just less than 25 percent of the students who were administered the exam.
