25th Annual Heritage Fest Set for Saturday

Music, fun, food all in store for attendees.

A local favorite returns from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, July 11 in downtown Lemont. The 25th annual Heritage Fest will feature rides, games, live music and food from local vendors.

Activity options were hand-picked by residents, in a social media survey this spring. The newest addition will be the Victory Lap Slide, an inflatable race car-themed slide. Other activities returning this year include a rock-climbing wall, zip line and the Meltdown, described as a rotating arm for participants to dodge or climb.

Visitors can play a game of miniature golf, bingo, or volleyball, or take old-time photos, historical walking tours, and pony rides. A petting zoo and Model A Ford car show will also be available, along with a smash the car and Minecraft-inspired art project.
