33rd Annual Jazz Band Dinner Dance Set For March 11

The district said that event proceeds will benefit the award-winning Lemont High School band and color guard programs.

LEMONT, IL — The 33rd Annual Lemont High School Jazz Band Dinner Dance, featuring the music of the school’s jazz bands, will be held at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on March 11.

The district said that event proceeds will benefit the award-winning Lemont High School band and color guard programs. The event is open to the community and not only will include the jazz band, but also guest vocalists, a special dance performance from the color guard, and professional musicians.

The Jazz Band Dinner Dance will run from 6-11:30 p.m., with dinner being served at 7 p.m. The Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame induction is also scheduled to take place at approximately 7:45 p.m., and the jazz band will play from 8:30-11:30 p.m.

The event will include raffles for cash and prizes, with winners being announced later in the evening, the District said.

Cog Hill Golf and Country Club is located at 12294 Archer Ave.

Reservations for the Jazz Band Dinner Dance are $65 per person (ages 13 and older), and include dinner, dancing and a cash bar. Children ages 2-12 are $35 each, while alumni performers are $45 each. A small credit card processing fee will be added to online orders.

Admission is $10 for adults who wish to attend only the dancing and raffle portion of the event; those individuals may not enter until 9 p.m. Lemont High School students with a valid student ID will be admitted to the dancing and raffle portion of the evening at no charge, according to the District.

The deadline for dinner reservations is Feb. 24. No RSVP is required to attend just the dancing portion of the evening.
