90 Kids Attend Lemont Coding Event

LEMONT, IL — Over 90 kids attended a coding event in Lemont on Nov. 3. The Devbridge Group hosted an Hour of Code session for kids ages 7 to 14 at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont. According to a release, the event was held in partnership with the Kazickas Family and bit&Byte.

92 kids attended the event that challenged them to solve problems in new ways and demystify programming concepts and technologies, according to a release. The tasks they were given related to Lithuanian history, in celebration of Lithuania 100, the centennial of signing the Act of Independence.
