After Predicting Cool Spring, Farmer's Almanac Looks To IL Summer
The Almanac is predicting tornadoes in Illinois around June 4-7.

While some may choose not to believe the Farmer's Almanac predictions, it seems like they were fairly accurate with the spring prediction for Illinois. According to the Almanac, they predicted spring would "take its sweet time getting here." That was definitely true for Illinois, which had below average temps in April and even some snow in the beginning of the month.
They are also calling for a stormy start to June with an increased thunderstorm threat. Other predictions for Illinois included: a cloudy, but uneventful start to spring; a mild, but soggy April; and a very wet May.
Now, for summer, the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a warm to hot summer, with near normal rainfall for the Illinois area. While, they did fairly well with their spring predictions for Illinois, only time will tell how summer will turn out.
