The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
Driving While License Revoked
- At 11:38 a.m. Sept. 25, Kathleen Connelly, 22, of the 300 block of Front Street, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 700 block of McCarthy for driving while license suspended/revoked and speeding 15-20 mph over the limit. Connelly was issued a Nov. 14 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
Possession of Cannabis

- A juvenile was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of cannabis in the 1100 block of Warner Avenue at 7:11 p.m. Sept. 28. The juvenile will appear in the local court.
Driver's License Never Issued
- At 4:41 a.m. Sept. 29, Javier Paniagua, 34, of Chicago, was arrested following a traffic stop at Route 83 and Grant Road for driver's license never issued and only one headlight. Paniagua was issued a Nov. 16 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

- At 10:13 a.m. Sept. 30, Kamal Sumrein, 34, of Bolingbrook, was arrested following an incident in the 600 block of Kromray Road for aggravated battery, filing a false police report, resisting/obstructing/disarming an officer and harassment by telephone. Sumrein appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a bond hearing.
