Aggravated Battery, No License: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

February 17

• Billy Towry, 38, of the 400 block of Grant Street, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. for driving while license suspended/revoked, no valid driver's license, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration, following a traffic stop at State and 127th streets. Towry was issued a March 27 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
• Mantvydas Demikis, 20, of Crestwood, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. for driving while license suspended/revoked, unlicensed more than one year and obstructed windshield, following a traffic stop at State and Illinois streets. Demikis was issued a March 27 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

February 22

• Joseph Lund, 35, of the 151800 block of New Avenue, was arrested at 8:35 a.m. for aggravated battery and domestic battery, following an incident in the 700 block of Ledochowski Street. Lund appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a Bond Hearing.

February 23

• Jessica Hartford, 34, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:58 a.m. for driving while license revoked/suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, operation of suspended registration, expired registration and illegal transportation of alcohol, following a traffic stop at 131st Street and Archer Avenue. Hartford was issued a March 27 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
