Aggravated Battery, Speeding: Lemont Arrests

Lemont Police reports through Jan. 11.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Jan. 6

  • Joseph Jereb, 31, of the 11S100 block of Saratoga Drive, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. and charged with battery following an incident in the 1000 block of State Street. Jereb was issued a Jan. 28 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

  • Rudy Cortes, 18, of the 1600 block of Ashbury Drive, was arrested at 10:22 a.m. and charged with aggravated battery following an incident in the 1000 block of Forest Lane. Cortes appeared at the Bridgeview Court House for a Bond Hearing.
  • Louis Meany, 21, of Oak Lawn, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. and charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Main Street and Walker Road. Meany was issued a Jan. 30 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.

Jan. 11

  • Tyler Kaiser, 19, of New Lenox, was arrested at 1:39 p.m. and charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop in the 17300 block of 127th Street. Kaiser was issued a Feb. 15 court date at the Will County Court House.
