Lemont's Centennial Outdoor Pool Opens For The Season On Saturday

For a daily pass to the pool, it is $8 per resident and $18 for nonresidents.

LEMONT, IL — Summer is here, and that means it's time for swimming to begin at Lemont's Centennial Outdoor Pool. The pool opens on Saturday to the public, and has a special opening day party for members on May 29.

Due to construction at the park district campus, entrance to the outdoor pool is different this year, according to the park district. All pool patrons must enter through the front door of the Centennial Community Center building for pool admission.

The pool offers a 6-lane, 25-meter pool; diving board; water slide; and a leisure pool with zero-depth entry and play pieces.

Hours for the public are 1 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12 to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Member-only hours are 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 11:15 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday; and 11:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday and Sunday.

Parent-tot hours are also available for pool pass holders only from 9 to 11 a.m. every day. These swim hours are for ages 11 and under, and just include the zero-depth pool.

For a daily pass, it is $8 per resident and $18 for nonresidents. Kids under 2 are free. Pool passes are $256 for resident families and $384 for nonresident families, according to the park district website.
