Fresh Oil, Resurfacing On State Street Planned Wednesday

LEMONT, IL — Drivers taking State Street through Lemont on Wednesday should use caution and avoid the area if possible.

The Village of Lemont said fresh oil will be applied at 1 a.m. Wednesday, followed by pavement resurfacing. The project will take place on State Street, from 127th to Cass.

"Drivers are advised to exercise caution and avoid the area if possible," the Village said. "Please drive slowly and be aware of road conditions and workers."
