Over 2,000 Still Without Power In Lemont After Tuesday Severe Weather

LEMONT, IL — Over 2,000 customers are still without power in Lemont after Tuesday's severe weather, according to the ComEd Outage Map.

2,189 customers are without power in Lemont, and 197 are without power in Lemont Township. ComEd said that 80 percent of customers will be restored by noon on Thursday, and 99 percent by 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The Village of Lemont said that public works crews are working throughout the Village to clear storm debris from parkway trees and public areas.

All limbs must be in the parkway by 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 17. Per Village policy, the department will not go on private property to remove limbs or branches.
