LEMONT, Ill. — Residents seeking to better understand their recent property reassessment notices will have an opportunity to meet directly with representatives from the Cook County Assessor's Office during a special outreach event in Lemont.
The one-on-one assistance sessions will take place Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lemont Township Community Center, 16300 Alba Street.
During the appointments, property owners can review their reassessment notices, ask questions about how their property values were determined, and learn more about the assessment process. Representatives will also be available to discuss potential next steps for homeowners who may be considering an appeal.
