'Treat Or Treat' For The Lemont Food Pantries During October

LEMONT, IL — During the month of October, Lemont residents can help fill food pantry shelves with the Hope and Friendship Foundation.

The Foundation will host "Treat or Treat" for the food pantries during October.

Donation bins will be inside the Lemont Police Department entry (14600 127th St.), and at the Jewel (1202 State St.) customer service counter.

According to the Foundation, needed items include canned meats, meals and pastas, boxed meals, microwave food/meals, name brand cereals, peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, coffee, paper products, personal care items and cleaning products.
