Angry Husband Scuffles with 3 Cops

LEMONT, Il. — Three police officers were injured during a fight with a Lemont man, who now faces faces several charges, including aggravated battery to a police officer.

Police were called to the home of Brendan P. Kelly, 38, on Nov. 25 for a domestic situation between husband and wife. Kelly acted out against officers, punching and striking them on the scene, according to police. One officer was injured when bitten by the couple’s dog.

Kelly was also charged with aggravated resisting/obstructing a police officer and domestic battery following the incident in the 12700 block of Chieftain Court.
