Annual Giving Back To Lemont Concert Benefits Food Pantries

Local bands and musicians will help raise funds and food donations for Lemont's two open food pantries.

LEMONT, IL — The sixth annual Giving Back To Lemont concert will be held on Saturday, July 21 from 4 to 9 p.m. According to the release, local bands and musicians will help raise funds and food donations for Lemont's two open food pantries.

The free, five-hour concert will take place directly west of Next Mex, 319 Front St., in the open grass lot. You can bring non-perishable food or monetary donations. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, or enjoy the food from Next Mex.

  • 4 p.m., "Gesswork," five piece jazz band
  • 5:30 p.m., Reverand Dogman and the Heard, blues rock with some classic rock
  • 6:30 p.m., Seth Mercer Original Rock
  • 7:30 p.m., Front Street Revival, rock and roll mix

According to a release, in the past five years, Giving Back To Lemont has raised nearly $10,000 and truckloads of food to help the town.
