Annual Pirate Pub Crawl Planned In Lemont
Organizers said participants must come in pirate costume and the pub crawl will visit several bars in downtown Lemont.
LEMONT, IL — The fourth annual Pirates of the Canal Pub Crawl will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. in downtown Lemont. The pub crawl will visit Bottles, Next Mex, Corner Stone, Pollyanna, Gelsosomo's, Tom's Place, Hughie's, Nick's Tavern, The Vault, Main Inn, VFW and Canal Street Pub.
Organizers said participants must come in pirate costume and there will also be a 50/50 raffle. Money raised from the event will go to Lemont Police Department, Lemont Fire Protection District, Lemont Food Pantry, TLC, Hope and Friendship and Suicide Prevention.
The creator of the pub crawl, Rob Themel, passed away earlier this year, so the event will be in honor of him, organizers said.
