Annual Scarecrow Trail Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Now that we have almost reached October, Lemont's annual scarecrow trail will soon begin. Registration for the trail is already open, and families, organizations or businesses must register by Sept. 19.

According to the Facebook event page, this year's theme for the scarecrows is movie characters.

The scarecrows are due on Oct. 3 to the Lemont Community Center, 16300 Alba St. Community voting will begin Oct. 3 and run through Oct. 18. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners.

The event is hosted by Lemont Township and the Lemont Junior Woman's Club.
