LEMONT, IL — UPDATED: Archer Avenue is reopened, according to a release from Lemont Police. The road was closed earlier Saturday due to a natural gas leak.
ORIGINAL STORY: Part of Archer Avenue in Lemont is closed due to a natural gas leak. According to a release, the Archer is closed from Cog Hills to Bell Road in both directions.
Lemont Police said Nicor crews have been notified and are on route to the scene. The road will be closed for several hours. Drivers should plan an alternate route.
