Battery, License Suspended: Lemont Arrests

Lemont Police reports through March 15.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

March 9

  • Drew Abernathy, 29, of Joliet, was arrested at 12 a.m. and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration following a traffic stop at State and 127th streets. Abernathy was issued an April 16 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Luis Negron, 33, of Hinsdale, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. and charged with driver's license expired more than one year and speeding 12-20 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Route 83 and Grant Road. Negron was issued an April 16 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Christina Maddock, 44, of the 0-100 block of Pine Needles Drive, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident following an accident at McCarthy and Walker roads. Murdock was issued an April 18 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

  • Yehya Altamimi, 26, of Orland Park, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. and charged with unlicensed more than one year and speeding 12-20 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Route 83 and Grant Road. Altamimi was issued an April 16 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

March 13

  • Joseph Baffo, 20, of the 600 block of Houston Street, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. and charged with battery and criminal damage to property following an incident in the 1000 block of State Street. Baffoe was issued an April 18 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Norma Cabrera-Soto, 45, of Joliet, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. and charged with no valid driver's license and improper display of registration following a traffic stop at New Avenue and 127th Street. Cabrera-Soto was issued an April 16 court date at the Will County Courthouse.

March 14

  • James Connelly, 78, of the 600 block of Singer, was arrested at 2:48 p.m. and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident following an accident at State and Cass streets. Connelly appeared for a bond hearing at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

March 15

  • Michael Tynski, 29, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. and charged with unlicensed more than one year and speeding 12-20 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Route 83 and Grant Road. Tynski was issued an April 16 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Navin Abraham, 26, of the 12600 block of Briarcliffe Drive, was arrested at 11:33 a.m. and charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated domestic battery and two counts of aggravated battery following an incident in the 12600 block of Briarcliffe Drive. Navin appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.
