Bicycle Recycle Event Hosted by Lemont Charity
The bicycle giveaway event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 20 in the Lemont Police Station parking lot.

LEMONT, IL - The Hope and Friendship Foundation in Lemont is hosting a bicycle recycle, to gather any unwanted bikes, scooters, roller skates or skateboards and find them a new home and owner.
The charity said as long as the recycled item has wheels and is in working condition, they will accept it. You can also drop off helmets, pads or bike pumps.
All of these items can be dropped off at any time from May 1 through May 18 at Lemont Police Department. There will be a drop-off sign by the south gate of the building. The Hope and Friendship Foundation is also looking for any volunteers that may have experience tuning up or tweaking bikes.
