Board Approves Outdoor Dining At Quarry Pub And Grill
The board also approved an electronic sign for Pete's Fresh Market.
LEMONT, IL — At the Lemont village board meeting on July 22, the board approved a special use permit for an electronic message center sign for the new Pete's Fresh Market. The market, located at 1100 State St., will open early this fall, possibly in September.
Mayor John Egofske said Pete's Fresh wants to be open well in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday season.
"If something does go wrong, they will probably delay the opening into the new year," he said, adding that the market wouldn't want to be training new staff with large crowds during the holiday season.

"It's great to see continued growth," Egofske said, adding that the board has to be conscious of any outdoor seating. He said they will monitor noise levels, even though residents nearby did express support of the outdoor dining.
