Another Burglary Reported At Lemont Gas Station
Over $10,000 in cigarettes was stolen from the same gas station a little over a week ago. This time, 5 burglars targeted the business.
LEMONT, IL — Over $3,000 in cash and merchandise was stolen from a Lemont gas station early Sunday, police told Patch, just a week after the same store was targeted in another burglary.
The burglary happened at Quick Run, 13604 Archer Ave. Over $10,000 in cigarettes was stolen from the same gas station a little over a week ago.
Police said there were five offenders who entered the business by shattering the front door with a hammer-type object, which was not left at the scene.

Police said the offenders were all men, with one man between 5'8" and 5'10" wearing a blue shirt, gray pants, blue surgical mask and rubber gloves; another man between 5'1" and 5'4" wearing a camo shirt, black pants, blue surgical mask and rubber gloves; a third man wearing a black shirt, black pants, a blue surgical mask and rubber gloves; a fourth man between 5'8" and 5'10" wearing black jeans, a black shirt and a red logo; and a fifth man between 5'9" and 6 feet tall wearing gray pants, a blue sweatshirt, black mask and rubber gloves.
The offenders stole $3,350 in merchandise and cash from the business, police said.

According to police, the men left the scene in a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, which was reported stolen from Alsip. The vehicle was later recovered unoccupied in Oak Park.
The vehicle and the offenders were also seen on video in similar incidents in other towns on the same night, police said.
