LEMONT, IL — Old Quarry Middle School will perform "The Little Mermaid Jr." in December, and there are several ways Lemont residents can help support the production and performers.

Local restaurants will host Pack the Place events throughout October and November, donating a portion of sales to the theater program. Residents can also purchase some special themed treats in the Sweets and Treats fundraiser to support the program.

Robin Curtner, founder of Magical Marketing by Robin, said that a custom popcorn, lollipop, cookie and cotton candy were created for the fundraiser.

Old Quarry Middle School Theater Flourishes Behind Lemont Community

There is also an option on the fundraising page where businesses or individuals can donate sweets and treats to the staff of Old Quarry, as well as the students and theater crew, Curtner said.

" I thought what a great way to make them smile, feel excited, all while helping the local school financially as well," she said.

Curtner created a Facebook event page, and if businesses or individuals donate, she will give them a shout-out, and share their business logo and page.
