Celebrating Academic Excellence at Everest Academy

At Everest Academy, we believe in nurturing a love for learning and providing students with opportunities to challenge themselves, grow, and excel. We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our middle school students, who recently earned awards and qualified for the upcoming Regional Science Fair! Their dedication and hard work—guided by the exceptional support of our teachers—demonstrate the high standards of academic excellence we uphold. A special thank you to Mrs. Kmetty for organizing our school science fair and to Mrs. Lawler for mentoring students in their research and writing.

We also proudly congratulate Rafael Alkhouri, our School Spelling Bee Champion! Rafael will represent Everest Academy at the South Cook Scripps Spelling Bee on March 4th. Academic competitions like these help students build confidence, sharpen critical thinking skills, and develop perseverance. Thank you to Mrs. Colarelli for leading our spelling bee and to our dedicated judges—Mrs. Bruin, Mrs. Fewkes, Mrs. Lawler, and Mrs. Tellefsen—for supporting this exciting event. It was inspiring to see our students rise to the challenge, compete with enthusiasm, and demonstrate great sportsmanship.
