Snow Possible, Cold Temps Return To Illinois: Weekend Weather
Highs for both Saturday and Sunday will be 44 degrees.

Spring isn't here yet for Illinois. After a few days with some mild temps in the 50s and even the low 60s, temperatures are back down in the 40s for the weekend. Highs for both Saturday and Sunday will be 44 degrees, and there is a chance of snow on Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Temps will remain in the 40s for the start of the work week, with another chance of snow on Tuesday, the NWS said.

Although snow is possible this weekend, the Chicago area saw some severe thunderstorms on Thursday, March 14. The NWS said hail was reported in the suburbs and there was also a brief EF-0 tornado in Lowell, Indiana, just over the Illinois border.
