Charity Event to Help Support Lemont Resident Battling Cancer
The WILL Power Challenge-Ellie's Day will be held to support Lemont resident Ellie Cuiching's battle with cancer.

LEMONT, IL - The Hope and Friendship Foundation in Lemont will host a WILL Power Challenge-Ellie's Day to show support for Lemont resident Ellie Cuiching. Cuiching, like Will for whom the event was created for, has worn the label of a child battling cancer, but she would like to be known for so much more than that.
When Cuiching was six years old, she was diagnosed with cancer. For six years, Cuiching has battled cancer, and is now 12 years old and in seventh grade at Old Quarry Middle School.
According to a release from the Hope and Friendship Foundation, Cuiching would rather be known for her will, determination and strong spirit, which is the inspiration for the WILL Power Challenge.

Will will also be at the event, wearing his title of cancer survivor, and he and Cuiching serve as inspiration for this year's event.
The foundation said the goal of the event is to provide an opportunity for Cuiching to see the outpouring of support and feel positive energy, hope and love to help her in her continued battle.
